Rare WW II embroidered example of the red roman numeral " VI " on a khaki backing. Worn by the 6th. Battalion of the Royal Marine Division. Addendum} I have been informed by an advanced R.Marine collector this sign was worn in 1919 by 6th. Battalion Royal Marines as part of the Rhine Army of Occupation before they were transferred to Murmansk in Russia and disbanded shortly afterwards.  read more

Rare woven example of the red scorpion on a yellow backing. Originally formed from the 41st.and 47th. Royal Tank Regiments but because of the heavy losses sustained by the 47th. at El Alamein they were renamed 1st Scorpion Regiment Royal Armoured Corps, changing again to the above title when the Royal Engineers joined the unit in Italy.  read more
