Scarce Victorian officers silvered cross-belt plate with plain backing plate and two screw bolts to the reverse. The Prince of Wales's plumes above the number, "3" to the centre of a crowned wreath of laurel. Possibly "3rd. Volunteer Battalion? or "3rd. Militia Battalion"?
