A three-tower castle to the centre of a voided circlet bearing the title, " Third Norfolk Rifle Volunteer Corps" on the Star of the Order of the Thistle Formed at East Dereham and consolidated as "3rd. Norfolk Rifle Volunteers " in 1872 and redesignated "3rd. V.B Norfolk Regiment in 1883.
