Rare brass Victorian shako badge with two loops to the reverse worn by the 2nd. Monmouthshire Rifle Volunteers from 1861-1864 on the grey Kepi. The number, " 36 " to the centre of a curled bugle horn backed by a pair of crossed rifles above the furled scroll, " Gwell.Angau.Na.Gwarth." and surmounted by the crown within a spray of laurel.
