Rare WW II embroidered example of the red roman numeral " VI " on a khaki backing. Worn by the 6th. Battalion of the Royal Marine Division. Addendum} I have been informed by an advanced R.Marine collector this sign was worn in 1919 by 6th. Battalion Royal Marines as part of the Rhine Army of Occupation before they were transferred to Murmansk in Russia and disbanded shortly afterwards.
