Scarce WW II blue plastic lapel badge with brooch pin fitting and "Patent Applied For " to the reverse. The title, " Fuel Watcher" on a circlet with " Heat-Light-Power" to the central bar. Originally formed by the Ministry of Heat and Power to appoint stewards in factories to conserve fuel wherever possible, the scheme was later extended to include hotels, shops, offices, schools and restaurants.
