WW II very clean embroidered example of the golden-yellow " Chinthern " on a circular blue backing with press-stud fittings to the reverse. This Division was better known as " The Chindits " and as part of the 14th. Army in the Far-East under the command of Major-General Orde Wingate became famous for their long-range penetration expeditions behind enemy lines in the jungles of Burma.
