Very fine quality officers gilt and enamel cap badge with two loops to the reverse. The " XXIV " roman numerals backed by a pair of crossed cavalry lances with red and white enamel pennons to the centre of a crowned blue enamel circlet bearing the title, " Lancers ". Raised in 1940 for the war and disbanded by 1948.
