WW II embroidered example of the white Viking Longship on a black backing. 5 Corps formed part of N.W.E.F. in Norway in 1940 before joining First Army in North Africa until the surrender of the Axis Forces. After this 5 Corps joined Eighth Army for the Sicily and Italy landings.
