Extremely rare embroidered in yellow on purple triangular shaped overall badge worn by female munition workers at the Royal Arsenal Woolwich. The king's crown within a triangle bearing, " On War Service " within another triangle carrying the title, " Royal arsenal ". Rare variation of the more common brass " On War Service " munition workers badge, so probably worn by ladies working with highly volatile material.
