Large size hallmarked silver and enamel king's crown squadron lapel badge with brooch pin fitting makers details for " T.E." and Birmingham hallmarks for 1920 to the reverse. The three-headed dog " Cerebus " to the centre of a crowned circlet bearing the title, " Royal Air Force 98 Bomber Squadron " above the motto scroll, " Never Failing " As part of the Royal Flying Corps the squadron fought in France in WWI claiming 40 enemy planes destroyed and in WW II were based at R.A.F. West Raynham flying B-25 Mitchell Bombers. [Approx 4 cms high ]
