WW II printed example of the yellow Crusader's Battle-axe on a black square backing that has been stiffened around card and affixed to a tropical k.d. shoulder strap slip-on. As part of First Army the 78th. were heavily involved in North Africa especially at Longstop Hill and Fort MacGregor before landing in Sicily and then joining Eighth Army in the Italian Campaign.  read more
